Q: What is InVEST?
A: InVEST is a non-profit education program that provides schools free resources to teach insurance and provide hands-on training to enter insurance careers. it is currently in over 800 high schools and working with 93 colleges offering insurance programs!
Q: How long is the program?
A: InVEST is very flexible and can accommodate any length class or timeline. While some programs are only two weeks for 60 minutes a day, other schools teach InVEST for the entire school year. The staff at InVEST can help you determine how to incorporate the textbook, lesson plans and resources to best fit your needs.
Q: What grade level does InVEST target?
A: The high school program is best for 11th and 12th graders, however some schools with advanced level sophomores have also incorporated the materials. InVEST also has a college program for institutions interested in providing an insurance certificate or degree program.
Q: How much does InVEST cost?
A: The InVEST program is completely free for schools and insurance professional who volunteer in the classroom can also use the materials at no cost.

Scholarships to students participating in InVEST
If you’re interested in having local insurance professionals help, InVEST can locate insurance agents and/or carrier representatives to speak to students on a variety of topics. In some areas, we’re able to organize multiple guest speakers each semester.

A: Once you decide to use the classroom materials, you will receive an email with your user ID and password to access the resources on the website. Getting started is easy. We look forward to working with you. You can email us with follow-up questions.
